EZstreams Jellyfin Client — Privacy

EZstreams is a media-player client. No media files or streams are bundled with the app. You choose an HTTPS Jellyfin server and sign in with an account authorized for that server.

Server connection and account data
Your server receives the username and password you enter, or the Quick Connect approval used to sign in. The app stores the resulting access token and user identifier in Apple Keychain. Your server address, app preferences and a randomly generated device identifier are stored on your device. The app does not save your typed password for future sign-ins. Signing out removes the stored access token from this device.

Playback and server records
The connected Jellyfin server receives requests for libraries, artwork, media, favorites and playback progress, together with your account token, device identifier, client information and network IP address. Its operator may retain account, playback and access logs. This may be your own server or a server run by another provider, including EZstreams. Ask that server operator about access, retention and deletion of its records.

Trailers and third parties
Trailer lookups may send a title or public media identifier to Wikidata and Apple TV. Artwork and trailer playback contact the providers named in the media metadata. YouTube trailers can use an embedded YouTube player on iOS or open the YouTube app or website. These services receive network information and process data under their own privacy policies. Turn off poster trailer previews in Settings to stop automatic preview requests; choosing a Trailer button still contacts its providers.

Diagnostics and feedback
The app stores limited playback diagnostic messages locally. This Apple client does not include an advertising or analytics SDK. TestFlight can collect testing and crash information under Apple's TestFlight privacy terms. If you send feedback by email, we receive your message and any information you choose to include. Do not send passwords or access tokens.

Your choices and contact
You can sign out, change servers, turn off poster previews, or uninstall the app. For questions about this client or feedback you sent to EZstreams, contact matthewdruce@gmail.com.
